Daily Games
One puzzle, once a day, and the same one everybody else is looking at. It is there when you get up and gone by the next morning, so nothing piles up while you are away and there is no backlog to come back to. Ten minutes, and you are done until tomorrow.

Play →Why play a daily puzzle?
A daily puzzle is finite in a way most games are not. There is one, it takes ten minutes, and when it is done there is nothing else being held out to you — no next level unlocked, no second board to keep you at the table. That is why people build them into a morning: it is the rare thing on a screen that ends by itself, and the same one everyone else got, so it is worth mentioning to somebody.
These change at midnight UTC, the same instant everywhere, so nobody’s day is the one the clock was drawn around. Nothing is counted against you for missing one: there is no streak to break, no badge to lose, and no leaderboard to fall down. Come back after a fortnight and the day’s puzzle is simply there, the same as it is for everybody who never left.
Frequently asked questions
Are the daily games free?
Yes. Every game on this page is free in your browser — no account to create, nothing to download and nothing to install.
What is a daily game?
One puzzle a day, the same one for everybody who plays it. Instead of an endless supply you get today’s: a painting cut into pieces, a sudoku grid, a five-letter word to work out, or a mahjong board. When it is done, it is done until tomorrow.
When does a new puzzle appear?
At midnight UTC — 00:00 UTC — which is one instant for the whole world rather than a local midnight, so everybody gets the same puzzle on the same day. Depending on where you are that moment can land in your evening or your morning.
Can I play yesterday’s puzzle?
For Daily Word, Daily Sudoku and Daily Jigsaw, no — the new one takes the old one’s place. Mahjong Triple keeps the last seven days open, so a day you missed can still be played until it drops out of the week.
What happens if I miss a day?
Nothing. There is no streak to break and nothing is taken away — the next day’s puzzle is waiting whenever you come back, exactly as it is for everyone else.
Why does Mahjong Triple start with levels?
It opens on a run of thirty hand-made boards, each with its own name, so the rules and the difficulty have somewhere to build. Once that run is finished it turns into one board a day like the rest of this page.
Can I play on a phone?
Yes — all of them work on a phone, a tablet or a computer, in the browser you already have. A half-finished puzzle is kept on the device you started it on, so you can close the tab and come back to it later the same day.
