Slide the animals like tiles and push two of a kind together — they grow into the next one.

How to play

  1. Drag an animal and it slides a cell at a time, stopping at the edge of the tray, a wall or any other animal.
  2. Push it into an animal of the same kind lying flush against it, and the two become the next animal in the line.
  3. The line runs chick, bunny, frog, hamster, axolotl, kitten, red panda, raccoon, capybara, panda, sloth and golden retriever.
  4. Each animal has one shape. The first four cover a single cell, the axolotl and the kitten two cells, the red panda and the raccoon a two-by-two square, the capybara and the panda three by two, and the sloth and the golden retriever three by three.
  5. A new animal the same shape as its parents appears where the one you pushed into was. A bigger one stands wherever there is room over or beside the pair, as close to the one you pushed into as it can, so side by side or stacked makes no difference — only a pair with no room around it at all fails to merge.
  6. Leave one animal on the tray to clear the level. Undo takes back a move, and Restart sets the level out again.
  7. Clear the nine levels and a new board opens every day at 00:00 UTC — the same board for everybody, and the last seven days stay open to play.

What it trains

  • Trains planning a few moves ahead — every merge changes the space the next one needs
  • Short levels with a clear finish, and undo whenever a plan does not work out
  • No clock and no score to chase: a level is done when one animal is left

A sliding-block puzzle with animals. Slide them around the tray and push two of a kind together to merge them into the next animal — chick to bunny, bunny to frog, all the way to a golden retriever. The bigger the animal, the more of the tray it takes, so clearing space is half the puzzle. Nine levels, then a new board every day, every one checked to have a solution, and undo as often as you like.
