Bullseye

The bow slides from side to side. Let the arrow go just as it lines up with the narrow gap in the fence, and hit the gold.

How to play

  1. The bow at the bottom slides from side to side on its own, fastest as it passes the middle.
  2. Tap the range, click, or press the space bar to let the arrow go. It flies straight up from where the bow is.
  3. The fence in the middle leaves only one narrow gap. An arrow that misses it sticks in the wood.
  4. Through the gap, the arrow sticks in the target. Only the inner gold ring, at the very middle, is a bullseye.
  5. A round is 100 arrows and 90 seconds. As the clock runs the gap closes in and the bow quickens. The bars in the corner show what is left of each.
  6. Hit the target 10 times in a round to clear level 1 and open level 2: a narrower gap, a faster bow, and 50 hits to clear it.

What it trains

  • One simple move, a single tap, and all of it is in the timing.
  • A 90-second round with a gap that keeps closing in, a bow that keeps quickening, and every arrow left where it stuck.
  • A tune your shots play along to, with a switch for the music and another for the sound effects.

Play Bullseye in your browser: an archery game of timing. A bow slides from side to side along the bottom of the range, a wooden fence stands between it and the target, and the fence leaves only one narrow gap. Tap to let the arrow go: it flies straight up from where the bow is. A round is 100 arrows and 90 seconds, and as the clock runs the gap closes in and the bow quickens. Only an arrow let go at the right instant gets through and into the target.
