Learn FreeCell
FreeCell, one idea at a time. Each lesson is a game picked to teach one thing, starting from the last cards.
How to play
- Tap a card, then tap where it should go: onto a card one rank higher in the other colour, into a free cell, into an empty column, or home.
- Each home pile takes its suit in order. A card that nothing can need any more goes home by itself.
- A run of cards in order moves in one go when there is room to carry it: more free cells and empty columns let longer runs travel.
- Some moves leave no way to finish. Undo takes a move back, and Restart deals the lesson again.
- Send every card home to finish the lesson.
What it trains
- Each lesson is chosen to teach one idea, so the next full game makes more sense.
- Real FreeCell positions with the classic rules, starting from the last cards.
- A soft tune the cards play along to, with a switch for the music and another for the cards.
Learn to win at FreeCell in your browser. Each lesson is a real FreeCell position chosen to teach one idea: building down in alternating colours, using the free cells, keeping one free, choosing what goes into an empty column, and moving a whole run at once. The first lessons start near the end of a game with only the last cards left, and each one asks a little more.
