Popsaic
Lift fruit tiles off a layered heap into a tray of seven, and three alike pop away.
How to play
- Tap a fruit tile that nothing lies on. Tiles with something on top of them are shaded.
- It goes into the tray below, next to others of its kind. Three of the same clear away.
- The tray holds seven. Seven that will not clear end the round, and the level is dealt again.
- Only the train’s wagon at the station can be unloaded; frozen fruit thaw as threes clear; a rainbow, once taken, finishes the fruit you hold most of; two fruit tied by a vine go in together.
- A key opens every padlock once it is taken; a fruit in a bubble is freed once three of its kind have cleared; a crate breaks once enough tiles round it have gone; and a bomb has to be taken before its fuse, which burns down with every tile taken, reaches zero.
- Take out, Undo and Shuffle each help once a round. Every level is open: the arrows move between them.
What it trains
- Every tap is a plan: which tile to lift so the next three come free together.
- The face-down stacks keep something back until you reach it.
- Each level is a new shape with something to think around: a train, ice, rainbows, vines, keys, bubbles, crates or bombs.
- A tune the taps play along to, with a switch for the music and another for the sound effects.
Play Popsaic in your browser: a tall heap of fruit tiles laid layer on layer, two face-down stacks beside it and a tray of seven. Tap a tile with nothing on it and it goes into the tray; three alike clear away, and seven that will not clear end the round. Every level is open from the start, each with something new: a fruit train that stops at its station one wagon at a time, frozen fruit that thaw as you clear, rainbows that finish a three for you, and fruit tied together by vines.
