Minesweeper
Read the clues, mark the mines, and open a fresh puzzle each day.
How to play
- Choose Reveal, then open a covered square. A number tells you how many of its eight neighboring squares contain mines.
- Switch to Flag to mark a suspected mine. On touch screens you can also press and hold a covered square; on a computer, right-click it.
- When a revealed number touches exactly that many flags, select the number again to open its remaining neighbors together.
- Reveal every safe square to finish. Daily gives everyone the same board; Easy, Medium and Expert create a new safe-first-move board whenever you choose New board.
What it trains
- Deductive reasoning practice — each clue becomes more useful when combined with its neighbors
- A daily board offers a short, repeatable puzzle while classic levels leave room to grow
- Flexible controls for mouse, keyboard and touch, with one optional safe hint and no account required
Play Minesweeper free in your browser with a fresh daily board and three classic difficulty levels. Every number tells you how many mines touch that square: use the clues together, mark suspected mines, and uncover every safe square. The first move on a classic board is always safe, today’s board is identical on every device, and one optional safe hint is available when you need it. There are no ads, downloads or accounts, and an unfinished board stays saved on this device.
