Koi Keeper

Scatter food, watch the koi come, and raise a pond that only real days can grow.

How to play

  1. Tap or click open water to scatter food. Nearby koi turn, swim over and take each piece.
  2. A pond stays full for about a day. While it has food in it the koi grow at full speed; when it runs low they carry on more slowly, so a day away costs nothing but time.
  3. A koi takes three years to grow in life; here a well-fed one is full-grown in about three real days, and nothing makes it faster. A pond nobody feeds still grows its koi, about two and a half times slower.
  4. Coins surface in the pond on their own — pass over one and it is yours. They buy food, koi and the next pond, and a few wait for you if you have been away.
  5. Each pond holds six koi. Open another pond when you want room for more.

What it trains

  • A slow, unhurried pond that changes a little between visits rather than demanding attention
  • Growth measured in real days, so a long-kept koi is genuinely its own
  • Calm by design: nothing counts down, nothing starves or dies, and there is no streak, ad, account or penalty for leaving

Play Koi Keeper free in your browser: tap the water to scatter food and the koi turn and swim over to take it. Each koi grows only with real days — nothing speeds that up — so a koi you have kept for months is visibly your own. A pond holds six koi, so more ponds make room for more. Nothing counts down against you, no koi can starve or die, and there is no punishment for leaving.
