Marble Shooter
Fire marbles into a rolling chain and match three — every colour is a note in the song.
How to play
- Aim with your mouse, a finger or the arrow keys, and tap, click or press Space to fire the marble loaded in the cannon. The next marble rests beside it; tap the cannon or press the down arrow to swap them.
- Marbles roll along the track toward the well. A marble you fire joins the chain where it lands, and three or more of one colour touching ring out together.
- Each colour is a note of the same scale, so everything you fire fits the music. When a group rings out the chain closes up, and if the colours on both sides of the gap match, they ring out too.
- Now and then a white pearl turns up: it rings out the marbles around where it lands. Clear all thirty tracks to finish the song.
What it trains
- Aiming and colour matching, with a moment of planning before each shot
- A calm pace with nothing to lose: a chain that slips just starts the track again
- Every move plays a note, so the music you hear is partly yours
Marble Shooter is a calm marble-matching game in your browser. Marbles roll along a winding track toward a well; a cannon fires marbles into the chain, and three or more of a colour ring out together. Every colour is a note of the same scale, so each shot and each match plays into a soft band that keeps its own time and grows as you go. Thirty tracks, each a little harder than the one before. A chain that slips into the well simply starts the track again, a little gentler.
