8 Ball Pool
Claim solids or stripes, clear your group, then call your pocket on the 8.
How to play
- Place the cue ball behind the head string for the break. Move the mouse to aim, hold the left button to build power, then release to shoot.
- The table is open after the break. The first ball you legally pocket decides whether you are on solids (1–7) or stripes (9–15); the 8 is never a legal first contact until your group is gone.
- Set shot power, follow or draw, and left or right English. Follow carries the cue ball forward after contact; draw brings it back; side spin changes rebounds and throw.
- Clear your group, then pick a pocket for the 8 and pocket it there. Sinking the 8 early, scratching on it or dropping it in the wrong pocket loses the rack.
What it trains
- True angle and speed control rewards position play instead of scripted level solutions
- Choosing a group and a finishing pocket turns every rack into a short planning problem
- Three opponent levels make the same physical table useful for learning or serious play
Play 8 ball pool free in your browser. Fifteen balls are racked with the 8 in the middle, and the table stays open after the break until someone legally pockets a ball and claims solids or stripes. Clear your whole group, then call a pocket and sink the 8 to win the rack. The balls use continuous collision physics with cloth friction, lively cushions, cut angles and cue-ball spin. Scratches, hitting the wrong group first, no-rail fouls and the four-ball break rule are enforced, and a foul gives the opponent ball in hand anywhere on the table. Pocketing the 8 early, scratching on the 8 or dropping it in a pocket you did not call loses the rack. Adjust power, follow, draw and left or right English, then play a race to two racks against a Casual, Club or Pro computer opponent. No download, account or ads are required.
