Hungry Little Snake
A grid of cute pictures with a few empty squares. Guide a little snake through all of them in one line, eating every picture once.
How to play
- Press any picture to start the line there.
- Drag to a picture beside it, up, down, left or right. The line cannot go diagonally or cross an empty square.
- Pass through every picture exactly once, all in one line, to clear the level.
- Dragging back along the line takes it back. Pressing a picture on the line cuts it back to there, and pressing one off the line starts a new line.
- Clearing a level opens the next. There are thirty, and from level 6 new rules come in: flags, fences, numbers, keys and locks, coloured rooms and bridges. Each is explained as it arrives.
What it trains
- Plan a route ahead: corners and squares beside the gaps decide where the line can begin and end.
- Thirty hand-picked boards, from an easy warm-up to big boards with flags, fences, numbers, keys, rooms and bridges.
- A tune that every step of the line plays along to, with a switch for the music and another for the sound effects.
Play Hungry Little Snake in your browser: a one-stroke puzzle on a grid of cartoon pictures. Press any picture and drag a little snake through the pictures beside it, up, down, left or right. It eats each picture it reaches and grows as it goes, until it has eaten every picture exactly once. Thirty levels grow from a warm-up of fifteen pictures to boards of seventy, adding flags, fences, numbers, keys and locks, coloured rooms and bridges along the way.
